The world is full of different species, so when veterinarians found out they were going to treat a bright orange bird, they didn’t know what to expect!
The Tiggywinkles Wildlife Hospital in the U.K. recently received an orange patient when passersby brought a bright orange bird that couldn’t fly to be treated.
"We had no idea what to expect — and would never have guessed this!" the hospital wrote. The bird, as it turned out, was covered "in curry or turmeric," according to the hospital.
As it turns out the curry covered bird was a seagull and has now been named Vinny, after the Indian dish vindaloo. Vinny has since been released back into the wild after a bath.
This however isn’t the first time a bird ended up in curry. A seagull fell into a vat of chicken tikka masala back in 2016 and was covered in curry before veterinary staffs washed it off him.
We have no idea how it ended up in curry to begin with but really, who can resist curry to be honest...
