Gear up everyone; we’re about to go through some massive water disruptions next week!
Water disruptions are expected in parts of the Klang Valley on 24th April 2019 and are expected to last up to 86 hours.

The water disruption is due to the upgrading works of the Selangor River Phase 2 Water Treatment Plant (LRA SSP2). Districts affected include Klang, Shah Alam, Petaling, Gombak, Kuala Lumpur, Kuala Langat and Kuala Selangor.
National Water Services Commission (SPAN) Chairman, Charles Santiago noted that Pengurusan Air Selangor will carry out the upgrading project.
Measures will be taken to minimise the impact of the water supply disruption, via the provision of water tankers, static tanks, public taps, water refilling stations and the distribution of bottled water at affected areas.

Air Selangor expects 50% of the affected areas to start receiving piped water supply again in 24 hours after the upgrading works.
Here’s the complete list of areas affected by the water cut.
