Many of us have fantasised about one day looking at our bank account and finding a lot more money than we thought we had, that mysteriously appeared out of nowhere.
That impossible dream however, became a reality for one woman who went to withdraw some cash and ended up finding an extra $1 billion in her account!

When Julia Yonkowski went to withdraw $20 (RM83) from an ATM, she was shocked to find more money than she expected, a lot more money.
Checking the balance in her account before withdrawing the money, the woman from Largo, Florida, USA, was stunned to discover that she somehow had $999,985,855.94 (RM4,159,521,226.85) to her name!
“Oh my God, I was horrified” Julia told WFLA about her discovery. “I know most people would think they won the lottery but I was horrified.”

“When I put in for the $20, the machine came back and said we’ll give you the $20 but that’ll cause and overdraft and you will be chargd and I said, ‘Oh just forget it,” Julia noted.
“I know I’ve read stories about people that took the money or took out money, and then they had to repay it and I wouldn’t do that anyway because it’s not my money,” she added.
“It kind of scares me because you know with cyber threats. You know I don’t know what to think.”

Though the 60-year-old woman’s discovery instantly made her the 615th wealthiest person in the US, she had been desperately trying to give the money back ever since she first found it.
Her shocking discovery however, happened on a weekend and she struggled to get ahold of someone from the bank to look into the issue.
“I just can’t get through,” she said. “I get tied up with their automated system and I can’t get a person.”
It is still unclear as to how the incredible amount of money found its way into Julia’s account, but the woman is determined to have it taken out her account sooner rather than later.
