Revenge is a dish best served cold and one woman got the perfect revenge on her cheating ex when she ended up making over RM250,000 by selling his rare collection of Yu-Gi-Oh! cards.

Yu-Gi-Oh! fans will know that there are certain trading cards that can fetch a fortune in online auctions and when one woman’s husband cheated on her, she decided to cash in on her misfortune.
The man’s extremely enviable collection of Yu-Gi-Oh! trading card was put for sale on Japan’s Yahoo! Auctions and it is currently still getting bids with the current amount standing at 20,503,000 yen (RM776,754)
The wife’s auction listing is for a total of 26 multi-pack boxes of Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards, 25 of which appear to be in mint condition.
Many of the ex’s cards are from early series in the game’s history, and the set includes packs from the Magic Ruler, Pharoah’s Servant, Curse of Anubis, Thousand Eyes Bible, Mythological Age, and Spell of Mask booster sets.

Along with her listing came the wife’s message that explained her reason for revenge:
“This is my first listing on Yahoo! Auctions. As an act of revenge against my husband for cheating on me, I have decided to sell his collection.”
“The items are unopened, so I’d be happy if I can get a good price for these…The boxes have been on a shelf with a cover over them, so they aren’t even dusty. I don’t have much familiarity with collectible card games, but to my untrained eyes the items have no damage or tearing, so please accept their condition as-is. Thank you.”

Many Yu-Gi-Oh! fans questioned the wife’s method of getting revenge with some asking if the ex even had a clue that his previous cards were on auction.
The woman’s auction has just ended but the final amount that she was able to sell it off for has not yet been revealed. We can’t wait to see how much she wass actually able to get from her cheating ex’s collection!
