We’ve all done it before – walking around with our faces staring at our phones instead of watching where we’re going.
Some of us probably would have crossed roads or walked down stairs while engrossed in our phones too.
One woman unfortunately learnt first hand why it’s important to always watch where you’re going.

A video of a woman falling down a flight of stairs after having missed a step while on her phone, has been making its way around the internet.
The video shows the woman dressed in a pink jacket, seemingly flying and tumbling down the stairs just because she was distracted by her phone.
According to Chinese media CCTV, the incident took place at a metro station underpass in Hefei city of Anhui province.
The woman unfortunately suffered injuries to her face from the fall.
Staff at the train station quickly rushed to assist the woman and helped her with her wounds.
An ambulance was also called immediately.
It’s a very simple thing that many of us take for granted, walking around with our phones. Unfortunately, one wrong step could leave you injured.
Please be careful wherever you go, you can always look at your phone after you’ve reached your destination.
It’s important to be aware of your surroundings, especially in these pandemic times.
Share this with someone you know that’s always on their phones!
