Just like we each have our own identification cards, now our beloved pets can get one too!

A local pet supplies company, Paw Life Matters has introduced Malaysia’s first ever ID for pets!
These personalised IDs are a fun and creative pet tag that can be hooked on collars or harnesses or even kept in your wallet if you need to.
The pet IC looks just like our ICs except it’s filled with important information about your pet like lost and found contact, vet contact, allergies, microchip number and more.

In case your pet ever gets lost, this pet tag will be able to help to bring them home faster and easier as they will always have identification on them.
However, this pet ID is not an official IC. It’s simply a tag that’s filled with information about your pet to help more pets find their way home if they get lost. Pet owners will still have to get your pet license from your local council.
Paw Life Matters believes in always helping strays and supporting local animal shelters. They shared that the sales from the pet ID will go into helping more strays and will be donated to their local animal shelter.

The pet ID comes in two varities – one for your furkid’s collar and one for its owner which can be used as proof of ownership incase your pet goes missing.
The tag can also be used at the vet where you can just show your pet’s details to them easily.
Pet owners will also be able to personalize the pet ID to their liking and add more information like breed and allergies to it.
