It sucks to be let go from a company and most of us usually get upset about it but then move on with our lives.
A lady in Thailand however, took things to a different level when she decided to get revenge.

Over a year after she was fired, Thamolwan Konthong was arrested when she was found to have been using her former company’s credit card to live a luxurious life!
According to the police, the woman ended up splurging over Bt6 million (RM802k) on luxury items before she was arrested in Dok Mai sub-district in Bangkok’s Prawet district.

Police Colonel, Phadol Chadon of the Economic Crime Suppression noted that the woman was taken into custody after her ex-company had filed a complaint about a stolen company credit card.
It was only in early May that the company’s owner had realised that a credit card had been missing since late 2017.
According to Phadol, the company’s accountants had assumed that their boss had been using the card all this time, so they had paid all the bills that were issued under it.

Since late 2017, Thamolwan had been using up the monthly card limit of BT500,00 (RM66,902) which caused the company to loose over Bt6 million (802k).
And what did Thamolwan buy with the credit card? A lot.

The credit card bill showed that the woman had visited a gold shop in Samut Prakan over 50 times and spent Bt100,000 – Bt200,000 (RM13,380 – RM26,760) each time on gold ornaments and bars!
Police also noted that she had also been using the card for luxury hotel stays that would cost between Bt20,000–Bt80,000 (RM2,675 – RM10,703) per night!
But that’s not all! Thamolwan would also use the card to fly first-class on domestic and international flights. She even bought multiple smartphones and luxury-brand clothes and bags.

Upon her arrest in her home, police also discovered more purchases piled up all around her house.
The police were able to seize 1.216 kilos worth of gold bars, a gold necklace weighing 30.4 grams, a car, four smartphones, a GoPro, a 55-incy TV, a notebook computer, an amplifier and luxury purses and handbags.

Thamolwan confessed to the crime and admitted that she had stolen the credit card out of anger after being fired.
Wow. Hell really hath no fury like a woman scorned. What are your thoughts on Thamolwan’s crime?
