Members of the Wild Boar football team, who were stuck in a Thai cave for more than two weeks, have finally been rescued! "We are not sure if this is a miracle, a science, or what. All the thirteen Wild Boars are now out of the cave," said the SEALs.
British volunteer divers discovered the 12 boys and coach on a dry slope surrounded by floodwaters, 1.6km underground. Thai Navy SEALs had to dive into the cave to get the boys out of it.
A former Navy SEAL volunteer died from the dangers of the mission as some sections of the route were so narrow to squeeze through and the oxygen supply had to be continuously replenished.
The last of the boys was carried away to the hospital in a helicopter and cheers were heard across the cave site.
The team is currently in recovery and we’re glad that the nightmare has come to an end. And let’s not also forget the show of help all around the world as volunteers poured in from everywhere to lend a hand. Faith in humanity restored.
