The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is expanding with six movies slated to release after the final showdown in Avengers: Endgame! Rumour has it that Angelina Jolie might be joining the MCU!
Angelina Jolie is reported to be in talks with Marvel Studios to star in the upcoming The Eternals movie!
The Eternals are a powerful race of cosmic beings that have lived for millions of years and have long lives as well as god-like powers! The Eternals and their genetic cousins, The Deviants were created by the cosmic gods known as The Celestials!
The Eternals and The Deviants are locked in a never ending war. And The Eternals are tasked with being the protectors of mankind!
After a civil war between The Eternals, a character named Mentor - who also happens to be Thanos’ father, went to Saturn’s moon – Titan to rebuild the ruined world! (Wish we could see Mentor lecturing Thanos in a father-son situation.)
Reports state that the movie will involve the love story between two Eternals named Ikaris and Sersi, but it has not been revealed as to who Angelina Jolie will be playing!
This will be Angelina’s first superhero movie if she’s confirmed, and seeing how she played the villain Maleficent so well, she might just be a second Hela-like character in the MCU!
