With so many languages in the world, we might confuse one language for another - like how we might think Japanese words are Chinese words. And this tweet from Bebe Rexha proves just that!
Bebe Rexha recently tweeted a status that gained a lot of attention in Malaysia, especially from the Kelantanese! Malaysians thought Bebe tweeted in Kelantanese and the replies are hilarious!
Many Malaysian netizens started replying in Kelate (slang from Kelantan) and they’re extremely amusing!
Translation: Ohhhhh, you’re Kelantanese?

Translation: What mahal, what kayo, finish your sentence la, don’t speak it in parts.
Translation: Which part of Kelantan are you from? Let’s meet up when you’re back.
In reality, the I’m A Mess singer actually tweeted in Tagalog/Filipinio that meant to say “I love you all”.
This mix up is definitely hilarious, but perhaps we should get to the bottom of things next time before we come to a conclusion!
Share this with your Kelantanese friends!
