Sometimes, we can be stubborn in certain situations and sometimes, we stand for what’s right to us, like when someone cuts your queue. In this situation, it’s two cars fighting over a parking spot.
A Twitter thread recently went viral after the user documented two cars trying to move into the same parking spot and refusing to give up… for AN HOUR.
The whole situation started when a black car went pass the parking spot and decided to reserve in while a silver car tried to park head in. That’s when the whole drama unfolds.
Both cars refused to give way and decided to turn on their hazard light while other cars bombarded the two with their honks.
30 minutes into the whole ordeal, the user said that there was a parking spot that opened up across the street but neither of the petty drivers decided to move into it. The user decided to ask the internet to choose their sides, #teamblackcar or #teamsilver car.
After an hour of drama and traffic jam, another car parked beside the parking spot, and the black car decided to move into that space while the silver car took the parking that they were fighting over.
Tension rose after both cars were parked and the twitter user live tweeted the whole ordeal, wondering if they were going to confront each other…
…until the silver car driver came out of the car and just left. The user then posted two handwritten notes and placed it on both car.
The twitter thread blew up and many people started commenting if they were team black car or silver car. Even Chrissy Teigen replied to the tweet!
Many said that the black car was the right one because the driver intended to make a parallel parking by reversing in but the silver car tried to nab the parking spot.
Although the two drivers handled the whole situation in a non-confrontational way, it’s pretty inconsiderate to cause a massive traffic jam over it…
Are you team black car or silver car? Tell us what you would do in this situation!
