In a time where everything seems scary and uncertain, we have to thank all our frontliners who have been tireless working throughout the pandemic to keep us safe.
Our frontliners are not only keeping us humans safe, they’re also saving animals all around us and recently, some of our bomba saved a defenseless kitten!

The Fire & Rescue Department of Malaysia recently took to Facebook to share their tale.
They were called in on a special rescue mission to save a kitten that got itself stuck in a car’s engine.

The recue effort took place in Subang Jaya and though it looked like it took a bit of coaxing to get the kitten out, the abang-abang bomba finally managed to get the kitten out safely.

Many animals have been known to take shelter in engines to keep themselves warm.
From cats to snakes, the small compact spaces in an engine that’s able to stay warm for a while after the engine has been shut off, is an ideal and enticing refuge from the cold and rain.
With the weather we’ve been having lately, it’s no wonder that this poor kitty sought shelter in the car’s engine.
We’re super glad that the bomba were able to save the kitten!
Thank you abang-abang bomba!
Be sure to check your engines before you drive, just in case an animal has crawled in! Share this with your friends and family so they check their engines too!
