Many of us spend most of our time at work besides and it can be hard to leave a company when you have colleagues and bosses that you’ve been through thick and thin with.
A video recently went viral showing an employee’s interaction with his boss on his final day at work and his boss was so saddened by it she cried and said “I’m so sorry”.
Many netizen were touched by the video, with many saying that he’s lucky to have such a caring boss.
The man that uploaded the video named Sodiqin who had resigned and on his last day at work, decided to buy a plant for his boss and the boss was touched and expressed that he didn’t have to waste money buying it.
The boss can be seen apologising in the video and saying “you shouldn’t get this kind of treatment, you shouldn’t.”
In which he responded and reassured her that she did her best.
Sodiqin reportedly worked in the sales department in a company and first started working with a team of 11, but due to the pandemic the department only had five employees left.
He said that even though he was the only Malay employee and the youngest and his colleagues are all Chinese, he never once felt like he was left out and went through thick and thin with them.
The reason behind his resignation was due to issues between management and his department, and the employee decided to send in his resignation, but everyone couldn’t bear the feeling of leaving their boss and were saddened by the decision they had to make.
He also revealed that besides the plant, he also printed keychains with photos of his colleagues and gave them to his boss.
People on the internet were touched by the story and many related to him saying that having to leave a company with a good boss is one of the hardest decision to make because they fear they might never meet another boss as good of them.
