Proposing to your other half is never as easy as it looks. Finding the perfect time to pop the question sometimes seems like the hardest thing to do. This guy made the best of the situation in the most hilarious way!

Edi Okoro’s story of how he proposed to his girlfriend, Cally Read, recently went viral because of the unique way he did so.
The 30-year-old man from Hertfordshire, UK, had been taking secret shots of his girlfriend with the engagement ring without her knowing for over a month!
The photos Edi shared range from him holding the ring behind Cally’s back while she’s brushing teeth to the ring sitting on the palm of her hand while she sleeps and we can’t get enough!

Edi explained in his post that he came up with the idea because he’s known as a “spontaneous improviser.”
“This made it even more of a challenge because Cally knows this, and the moment I planned a holiday or a meal she would have clocked on to what I was about to do,” he wrote.
Edi began taking the ring with him everywhere, hoping that the perfect moment would arise.
“After a month or so of waiting for the right moment, I was sitting on the sofa admiring ‘my precious’ (yes I became very attached to this ring by this point) Cally almost caught me staring at the ring, and it hit me!” he said. “All these missed opportunities mixed in with the thought – Cally doesn’t know I have the ring!! I should just start documenting these moments.”

That’s when Edi started to take as many pictures in daring scenarios until the perfect moment to propose came up or if he got caught. Cally had no idea that this was going on the entire time, though there were a few close calls along the way.
He got more daring as time went on and even took two videos of his dry-run proposals.
In case you were wondering, Edi did finally find the perfect moment to porpose to Cally. He posted a follow up picture and announced that he had popped the question and of course, she said yes!
“We did end up getting engaged, and no I didn’t get caught,” he wrote. “But how I did it is a story for another time.”
We definitely can’t wait for this couple’s proposal story! It definitely sounds like it’ll be one for the books!
