Guy Receive Package For Order Made 8 Years Ago

It’s frustrating when something you ordered online takes longer than expected to arrive but one guy’s delivery order delay is on a whole new level!

A man from Canada recently went viral after he posted on Reddit about how he received an order that he made… eight years ago!

Elliot Berinstein, a Canadian doctor, was confused after he had received a package from an online shopping site even though  he hadn't placed any order in awhile.

And then he realised that it was an order he had made eight years ago while purchasing a hair cream product!

"I was very confused because I hadn't ordered anything from Well.ca in awhile," he said.

“And then I remembered one time about eight years ago I ordered something from them."

He initially wanted to try the hair cream he ordered in 2012, but decided not to after the hair cream that was supposed to be “pretty white” turned bright yellow.

"I think it was just in a corner somewhere and then someone just decided to mail it," he said.

"I thought it was pretty funny that they just didn't throw it out or something. ... I wonder why now they sent it out since they're pretty far behind on their current packages and stuff."

The online retailer company was said to have contacted him after the post went viral and sent him some new hair products to try too… but decided to use another courier option instead!

He also reached out to the courier service company but has yet to receive any response and said, “I'm not looking for a refund or anything — the product was only $5. But it would be funny to see what they'd say."

Netizens found the post funny and others were puzzled on why whoever working at the courier company decided to mail the package after realising it was made eight years ago.

Seems like the person that discovered the box is really responsible and it’s certainly cool to find an order that you’ve made years ago appear at your doorstep!
