Cat Left Alone At Home Tears Up In Front Of Surveillance Cam

People can feel lonely sometimes when they are left home alone but sometimes we forget about how our pets feel when we leave them at home.

A lonely cat recently went viral after it was left alone at home and was caught “crying” into the surveillance camera that the owner set up.

 

The video shows the pet's owner calling out to the British Shorthair through the surveillance camera. The cat was confused at first but then teared up after it realised that the sounds came from the device.

 



The owner of the cat named Fu Fu had gone home to her parent’s for Lunar New Year and had decided not to bring the cat along because she was afraid it will not get used to her parent’s home.



She also said that she made sure Fu Fu had enough food and water to last the week but she cut her trip short and came back early after seeing her cat crying.
 
“I felt heartbroken when I saw this,” she said.
 

 
She also posted a follow-up video recording her return home which saw Fu Fu excitedly dashing towards her after she called out to him.

 

The internet was heartbroken after seeing the video of Fu Fu tearing up.
 
Many also said that teary eyes in cats might be a sign of eye infection but the owner explained that her cat is perfectly healthy and that he would often tear up when it’s hungry and anxious.
