Cats are often described as mischievous, disobedient and mostly just not caring about anything or anyone besides food. But this cat proves otherwise.
A cat named Rambo recently went viral because he refused to eat and drink after his owner passed away.
The owner’s son, Fadhil Raihan, wrote in the post saying how the cat had an inner bond with its owner and spends most of its time with him after he adopted it when it was just a kitten.
When the owner passed away, the cat fell ill too and while it was healthy enough to accompany the family for the week-long prayer, it had lost its appetite and refuse to eat or drink.
Rambo was taken to the vet a few times due to dehydration and was even hospitalized.
After it was treated and taken home, it would only sleep and sit in front of the tv despite the family feeding him food with high vitamins and keeping it healthy.
The vet explained that the cat is not physically sick and that cats too, can feel lost and depressed.
The family decided to take Rambo for a visit to the owner’s grave. After observing the surroundings, it sat in front of the tombstone and had its vision fixed on it the whole time.
Rambo had his moment with its owner before they went home and Rambo immediately had its appetite back, but still requires time to fully recover.
The cat has since been named Rambo The Loyal Cat and Fadhil even created an Instagram account for the loyal feline.
