Malaysia is not shy of creating our own food combos from time to time and another one just made it into the spotlight… but we’ll leave the decision on whether its good or not to you!
One of Malaysia’s iconic dessert has recently made a fusion with a western dish, creating the food combo – cendol pizza!
The collaboration between two franchises got the attention of Malaysian netizens with the fusion between the two favourite dishes and called it Penang Chendul Pizza.
“A timeless Malaysian dessert meets US Pizza!” the post on Facebook wrote. “With fresh pandan flavored chendul noodles, immersed in light coconut milk and topped with gula melaka and kidney beans, the #PenangChendulPizza will tantalize your tastebuds like never before!”
The internet is divided over the weird food combo, with many commenting that the combo is disrespectful to both dishes and others sarcastically suggesting other combos like char kuey teow pizza, fried rice pizza, laksa pizza and more!
If you’re not a fan of the food combo, fear not because it’s only a limited-time promo, but if you’re curious to try it out, you better get your orders in as soon as possible!
