Children can get out of control sometimes and many incidents involving kids destroying stuff have occurred in the past, but two children took it a whole new level!

Two children that were playing around in a glass museum in China recently knocked over the world’s largest glass blown castle that’s worth around RM275,000 (450,000 yuan)!

The 60-kilogram artwork that took 500 hours to complete using 500,000 glass loops, and features spires made with 24-karat gold, broke after the two children chasing each other crossed the belt barrier and toppled over the display case.

The castle was knocked over and the main spire of the castle broke along with other parts of the structure that was also damaged after the kids bumped into the artwork that was displayed in the Shanghai Museum of Glass.

The parents of the two children apologized for the incident and promised to take responsibility for the repairs of the glass castle.

The Fantasy Castle, made by Spanish glassblower Miguel Arribas is based on the iconic Cinderella Castle at Disney World Resort and was presented as a gift to the museum in 2016 to mark its 5th anniversary.

The museum has contacted the artists to repair the glass castle but they are unable to travel to China due to the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions.

Shanghai Museum of Glass apologized to visitors for not being able to present the collection in its entirety and urged them to follow the guidelines and refrain from running and crossing the protective railings.
