The press release states that cinemas are allowed to resume operations in conditional MCO and recovery MCO states.
Many cinemas are celebrating the new announcement by posting pictures of their reopening and Malaysians are ready for it!
The announcement came after Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob announced that Selangor, KL, Johor and Penang will switch from the Movement Control Order to the Conditional MCO starting March 5th.
The four states will join Negeri Sembilan, Kedah, Perak and Kelantan as CMCO states, while Melaka, Pahang, Terengganu, Perlis, Sabah, Putrajaya and Labuan will be placed under RMCO from March 5th to the 18th.
Sarawak will remain a CMCO state.
Cinemas in Malaysia were previously reopened but were forced to stop their operations once again after the implementation of MCO 2.0.
