Now if you’re like everyone else you’d probably think, cornflakes is only meant for breakfast with milk but there’s a new viral recipe that transforms regular cornflakes into salted egg cornflakes!
A Facebook account called Normaidani Malek recently posted a Salted Egg Cornflakes Crunchy recipe that garnered more than 3,000 shares!
Also, Raya is coming so you can make this for your Raya open house guests too!
Here’s the recipe:
Ingredients
120 gram - Margarine/butter.
2 - Curry leaves.
3 – Sliced red chilis.
70 gram - Salted Egg powder (sold at bakery ingredient shop).
1 teaspoon - Sugar.
250 gram - Cornflakes
How to make it
1. Heat up the margarine/butter and put the curry leaves in, stir till it’s even.
2. Put in the salted egg powder and chilli, followed by sugar. Stir till even.
3. Insert the cornflakes and mix till the cornflakes are wrapped with the rest of the ingredients. Turn off the stove.
4. Keep in a container once it’s cooled!
Tip: Keep the cornflakes in the oven after you’ve mixed it for 10-15 minutes to maintain the crispiness! And don’t cool it under a fan.
