As Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Phase Three draws to a close with Avengers: Endgame now in cinemas and Spider-Man: Far From Home in July, fans are asking, “What’s next?”
Well, we’ve got everything that Disney has planned next for the MCU, the Star Wars franchise, and its live-action movie plans, at least for the next nine years.

Disney recently revealed the release dates of several movie franchises and other animated and live-action movies to come over the course of nine years.
Thus far, the MCU will begin Phase Four in 2020 with two untitled movies. Three more Marvel movies have been planned for 2021 and 2022 as well.

The Star Wars franchise will continue a new saga that kicks off with The Rise of Skywalker in 2022, followed by two more movies in the trilogy in 2024 and 2026. What exactly the new trilogy will bring has been kept under wraps, so we’ll have to keep guessing.

Despite its release date being pushed back, James Cameron’s Avatar sequels are still scheduled with Avatar 2 expecting a 2021 release.
