A small girl lost in the Australian bush was found safe and sound, thanks to the family dog.
When 3-year- old Aurora wandered away from her family home, she was followed by Max, the family’s 17-year- old cattle dog. As night fell and temperatures started to drop, Max stayed with her and kept her company for 16
hours until they were found by family.
“I shot up the mountain and when I came to the top, the dog came to me and led me straight to her,” said Aurora’s grandmother Leisa, recalling the moment when she heard the little girl calling out to her.
