After months of speculation, Dua Lipa has confirmed she’s engaged to actor Callum Turner. The Grammy-winning pop star, 29, shared the news in a new interview with British Vogue, describing the engagement as a deeply meaningful step forward.

“It’s very exciting,” Lipa said. “This decision to grow old together, to see a life and just, I don’t know, be best friends forever — it’s a really special feeling.”
Lipa and Turner, 35, have been together for nearly a year and a half. They made their red carpet debut as a couple at the 2024 Met Gala and have kept their relationship relatively low-key ever since. Turner is best known for roles in Fantastic Beasts, Masters of the Air, and The Capture, the latter of which earned him a BAFTA nomination in 2020.
Engagement rumors first began swirling late last year after Lipa was spotted wearing a ring in a series of holiday photos. She now reveals that the ring was custom-made by Turner, who enlisted help from Lipa’s sister and close friends to design it.
“It’s so me,” she said of the ring. “It’s nice to know the person that you’re going to spend the rest of your life with knows you very well.”
While wedding plans are on the horizon, the couple is currently focused on their careers. Lipa is in the middle of a world tour, set to wrap in Mexico this December, and Turner is preparing for his leading role in Neuromancer, Apple TV+’s upcoming sci-fi series based on William Gibson’s acclaimed 1984 novel.
For now, Lipa is simply enjoying the moment. “I’ve never been someone who’s really thought about a wedding or dreamt about what kind of bride I would be,” she admitted. “All of a sudden I’m like, ‘Oh, what would I wear?’”
