Will Connolly aka ‘Egg Boy’ is putting his newfound fame to good use.
After going viral for his support of the victims of the recent Christchurch tragedy, a GoFundMe page was made for Will. The fund was originally created with intentions to help Egg Boy cover his legal fees and to help him buy “more eggs.”
The goal of the fund was to raise $50,000 Australian dollars (RM144,565) but at the time of writing, the fund has surpassed its goal and raised over $60,300 (RM174,345)!

According to an update on the page, “EggBoi (Will) plans to send a majority of the money to the victims of the Christchurch terrorist attack.”
Another update noted that Will is “currently limited with what he can post as he and his family are following certain processes.”

Shortly after being released without being charged, Egg Boy had uploaded a video on Twitter where he said, “Don’t egg politicians. You get tackled by 30 bogans at the same time. I learnt the hard way.”
Ever since the horrible incident that took place in New Zealand, countries all over the world have been paying homage to the victims. Even notable celebrities have joined in to pay tribute and raise funds for the victims.
People have also been placing flowers at mosques around the world to show support and love for the victims and their families.
We applaud Will/Egg Boy for stepping up and donating the funds raised to help out the Christchurch victims.
