Elton John turned his annual Oscars viewing party into an unforgettable musical celebration, sharing the stage with rising pop sensation Chappell Roan for a powerhouse performance of her hit song "Pink Pony Club."

Before launching into "Pink Pony Club," Roan expressed her gratitude to the music icon for his support. "Thank you so much for believing in me. You made it so I could be the artist I could be," she told John, according to Rolling Stone. In a playful moment, Roan crowned him with a glittering pink cowboy hat before they delivered a show-stopping performance. Seated at first, John couldn't resist standing to sing along as the crowd cheered.
The night continued with more special moments, including Roan performing John’s 1970 classic "Your Song" and the two artists teaming up for a moving rendition of "Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me." John later shared a snippet of their performance on Instagram, writing, "Sharing this moment together at #EJAFOscars was nothing short of magical. For one night, we transformed West Hollywood Park into our own Pink Pony Club—a space filled with love and community, where everyone can be unapologetically themselves."
John has long been a vocal supporter of Roan, who recently won Best New Artist at this year's Grammys. Last year, he honored her as one of Entertainment Weekly's Entertainers of the Year, praising her artistic vision and fearless performances.
