Health care workers and frontliners are working tirelessly to help with the COVID-19 pandemic and rapper Eminem decided to help out with his “Mom’s spaghetti”!
The famous line “knees weak, arms are heavy… mom’s spaghetti” from Eminem’s song “Lose Yourself” has inspired many memes over the years and now the rapper is literally helping the frontliners with “mom’s spaghetti” by sending them some pasta!
The staff of Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit shared how the rapper provided them with containers of prepared spaghetti with the message “thank you frontline caregivers”.
"Our #HealthcareHeroes 'lost themselves' in the delicious Mom’s Spaghetti donated by Detroit’s very own, @eminem," wrote the caption."Thank you for providing a special meal for our team members!"
The containers have Eminem’s Shady Records logo as well as “Mom’s spaghetti” labels and was sent to the health care workers in his hometown, Detroit.
The song that inspired it all won the Oscars back in 2000 and he even opened a pasta pop-up where fans can buy mom’s spaghetti, meatballs and “s’ghetti sandwich” back in 2017!
It’s definitely amazing to see the rapper helping with the pandemic and he even managed to infused some humour while doing it!
Many other celebrities have also helped in this difficult time by donating money to food banks, raising money and more for COVID-19 relief.
