According to Forbes, she’s now the highest paid actress, banking around RM111.6 million (US$26 million) pre-tax in a 12-month scoring period.
The movie-musical La La Land definitely contributed to this, racking up to RM1.9 billion (US$445.3 million) at the global box office.
Jennifer Lawrence, who was the highest paid actress in 2015 and 2016, now ranks in third place with RM103 million (US$24 million).

Jennifer Aniston comes in second with RM109.6 million (US$25.5 million). She continues to receive royalties more than a decade after her iconic sitcom, Friends, has ended.

Emma Watson is also on the list this year, after the box-office hit Beauty and the Beast earned RM5.4 billion (US$1.26 billion).
