Talent can be found anywhere and this Filipino boy proved just that after going viral while covering one of Sam Smith’s song!
Facebook user Trixie Madison posted a video of a boy singing Sam Smith’s hit song, “Too Good At Goodbyes” in what looks like an electrical appliance store and the video went viral and garnered over millions of views!
Netizens are praising the boy over his powerful voice and how much he sounds like the singer himself and we couldn’t agree more!
The video got the attention of Sam Smith too and he reacted by posting the video with the caption "WHO IS THIS KID!!!!? YOU ARE OUT OF THIS UNIVERSE WHOEVER YOU ARE”.
Winner of American Idol season one and the judge of The Voice, Kelly Clarkson also retweeted the video and complimented the boy’s voice.
Some people pointed out that the boy’s is actually Carl Malone Montecido, a visually impaired singer that had previously competed in various talent shows as young as the age of 11!
Carl posted a video thanking everyone for the positive response of his trending video and also clarified that the video was taken after class and that they didn’t skip class.
We hope that his voice can bring more joy to the world in the future and that he will be singing on the big stage someday!
