Florence Pugh just made leaping off one of the tallest buildings in the world look like a walk in the park. Marvel Studios has dropped a new behind-the-scenes featurette for Thunderbolts, revealing that yes—Pugh really jumped off Malaysia’s iconic Merdeka 118 during filming. And no, she wasn’t fazed.

“Of any stunt in any movie, this is amazing. How many times do you see someone throwing themselves off a building?” Pugh says in the clip. “It’s strange how zen... I feel.”
In the video, the actress—who reprises her role as Yelena Belova, the next-gen Black Widow—is seen suiting up with a harness and practicing her moves atop the world’s second-tallest skyscraper, the Kuala Lumpur skyline stretching behind her. The real highlight? Pugh BASE jumping off the building, soaring through the sky like a true Marvel hero.

Filmed in Malaysia last year, Thunderbolts is Marvel’s gritty ensemble flick that brings together a team of anti-heroes for covert missions, à la The Suicide Squad or The Dirty Dozen. The film stars Pugh alongside Sebastian Stan, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Harrison Ford as Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross.
With fearless stunts like this and a stacked cast, Thunderbolts is shaping up to be one of the MCU’s boldest entries yet.
