True friendship is hard to come by and one Malaysian guy was so touched by his friends’ surprise that he couldn’t hold his tears back!
A video recently went viral showing a few friends teasing their friend’s old phone and then secretly surprising him with a new phone!
The group of friends decided to save money together and buy him a new phone because he had been using his phone for 4 years and it’s kind of broken.
“After sticking with him through thick and thin, it's the least we could do to appreciate him,” the caption wrote.
The guy initially thought his friends were joking but he covered his face and cried towards the end after he realised that they meant it.
Many netizens were touched by the bond between the boys and are envious of such a close friendship.
Faizal, the friend that posted the video, thanked his two other friends Aizat and Azrai for chipping in for the new phone and jokingly said that now their friend will need to pick up his phone and reply their messages or they will take back the phone.
“Helping a close friend of yours might not change the whole world, but it could change the world for your friend.”
“Appreciate the people that are close to you while they are still around,” Faizal wrote and thanked everyone on the internet for their kind words to him and his friends.
Faizal also clarified that the PC setup belongs to his other friend and not the friend that they surprised to avoid any confusion.
It’s friendships like these that make our world more wholesome and we’re definitely jealous!
