The long awaited Frozen 2 movie trailer just dropped, and it looks dark and grim! It also leaves us with so many questions…
What’s up with the dark tone of the trailer? Is Elsa braving the raging sea trying to escape the island? What’s with the floating diamonds? And for the most asked question… who are the new characters?!
The internet, of course, came up with their own theories about who the new characters are:
#1 Anna & Kristoff’s Daughter
Frozen 2 might be set years after the events of the first movie and fans have been guessing that the new character might possibly be Anna and Kristoff’s daughter!
Even Kristen Bell, the voice of Anna, has been dropping hints on twitter.
#2 Elsa & Anna’s Parents
What actually gave Elsa her powers? The new movie might dive deep into that, and the new characters have been theorised to be Elsa and Anna’s parents when they were young!
#3 Elsa & Anna’s Sister
Seeing how the first movie didn’t really confirm the death of Elsa and Anna’s parents, some fan came up with the theory that they are somehow still alive, and the new girl is Elsa and Anna’s sister!
#4 An Air Bender?
Remember the floating diamonds in the trailer? Some fans have been coming up with the theory that the different symbols in the snowflake represent the four seasons: winter, spring, summer and autumn.
The trailer seems to be hinting that it’s autumn with leaves falling. Autumn is also the season where it’s wet and windy sooo… is the guy an air bender? It’s likely.
