Gigi Hadid recently acknowledged fans for respecting her and Zayn Malik's decision to keep their 4-year-old daughter Khai's face off social media.
In an April 11 Instagram post featuring Khai riding a bike and practicing her letters—with her face unseen—a fan commented, "Even without showing her face, we can feel how loved and special Khai is." Gigi warmly replied, "This means a lot :)."
Gigi and Zayn have chosen to protect Khai's privacy since her birth in 2020. Back in 2021, the model shared a heartfelt message asking the public and press to blur Khai's face in any images captured in public.
“Our wish is that she can choose how to share herself with the world when she comes of age,” Gigi wrote at the time. “We just want her to have as normal a childhood as possible.”
While Gigi rarely shares glimpses of her daughter, she has occasionally opened up about motherhood. Earlier this month, on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, she shared a fun story about their first trip to Medieval Times in New Jersey. “Khai got very into it,” she laughed. “She ate so much chicken—it was her favorite!”
Despite being in the spotlight, Gigi continues to prioritize giving Khai a grounded and private childhood.
