In a rare glimpse into her personal life, Gigi Hadid is sharing how her relationship with Bradley Cooper has brought her happiness, confidence, and a new appreciation for the arts.
In her Vogue April cover story, published Tuesday, the supermodel reflected on her year-long romance with the Oscar-nominated actor, revealing that they first met at a friend’s backyard birthday party. Since then, their connection has only grown stronger.
“I respect him so much as a creative,” Hadid shared. “He gives me so much—encouragement and belief. When people you admire support you, it helps you believe in yourself. It makes you think, ‘Why not take the leap?’”
Hadid also credited Cooper with reintroducing her to theater. “Bradley has opened me up to going to the theater more, and that’s something I’ve really enjoyed bringing back into my life,” she said.
Reflecting on their relationship, the model admitted that the timing felt right. “Knowing what you want and deserve in a relationship is essential,” she explained. “Finding someone who is at a similar place in life, where they understand what they want and are willing to put in the effort, makes all the difference. I just feel really lucky.”
Both Hadid and Cooper have children from previous relationships—Hadid with singer Zayn Malik and Cooper with model Irina Shayk. Despite keeping their romance largely private, she assured that their bond is “very romantic and happy.”
As for outside speculation about their relationship, Hadid has learned to tune it out. “You just have to let it go,” she said. “You can’t always correct everything.”
