Sometimes having a small box of chicken fillets just isn’t satisfying enough but this girl ended up with more than 60 boxes of chicken fillets because of her slow internet!
A 7-year-old girl in the Philippines ended up with more than she could eat… and afford, when she tried to order some chicken fillet and fries for lunch with her grandma.
In a Facebook post that went viral, it was revealed that the girl was trying to order 2 boxes of chicken fillet with fries but due to her slow internet connection she continuously made the same order for about 42 times unknowingly.
Little did she know, the orders went through and more than 30 delivery drivers ended up at her house, resulting in a chaotic “sea” of delivery riders trying to deliver the same chicken order to her!
The girl panicked and cried because she did not plan for it to happen and she only had enough money to pay for one order and the total accumulated up to around RM670.
Fortunately enough her neighbours in Mabolo, Cebu City, helped to solve the problem by buying the orders off her and some riders cancelled after noticing the suspicious transactions and others left without being paid because they had to hurry off to their next delivery.
The internet is praising the neighbours for helping the girl out with many others tagging their friends who love eating chicken nuggets/fillet.
Either way it’s definitely a traumatising and unforgettable experience for the 7-year-old girl and she’ll have quite the memory to look back on every time someone mentions chicken fillet!
