Dogs are often described as man’s best friend and for good reason. A stray dog recently went viral for rescuing a street performer who was pretending to be injured, and now, another dog has gone viral for protecting a little girl!
A video of a loyal dog protecting a little girl that’s being told off recently made its way around the Internet and it showed the lovely bond between them!
The dog named “Harry Potter” was seen rushing to protect the little owner as her mother scolds her. It even snarled at the mother as she was trying to move the dog away.
The doggo even hugged the little girl and rested his head on her shoulder after the mother scolded her to “console” the girl and it’s too adorable!
The mother from Xuzhou, China explained that she was scolding her daughter after she found out she had ripped her newly-bought moisturiser and played with it as a toy.
She went on to say that the two shared a deep bond and she filmed it because she thought it was “funny and infuriating” at the same time, but she calmed down after seeing Harry Potter protecting her.
“I was honestly really upset. I'd just bought the cream and half of it was already gone,” the mother said. “I was still upset but I thought it was also quite funny.”
She also said that this is not the first time something like this has happened and the dog will always come over and shield the little owner when her parents speak to her in a harsh tone.
“It was very heart-warming. Dogs would find ways to express their love if you treat them properly.”
Harry Potter has since gone viral after people on the internet saw the heart-warming video, but some thought that it’s rare to see a tame breed like a golden retriever get angry and snarling unless they were really pushed to the limit.
It's definitely nice to see the sweet relationship between pets and their owner as long as they are not being pushed around just for a video’s sake!
