Nothing is impossible, and this Malaysian man proved just that after he conquered Mount Everest… using only his hands!
Azrulkhan Hasrullah—known to his friends as Adam—was born with polio, which made him a double leg amputee. Despite the physical challenge, he recently defied odds and became the first in the world to climb to the base cap of the world’s highest mountain by using only his hands.
With a freezing temperature between -5˚C to -7˚C and a lack of oxygen, Adam managed to climb up between 4km to 6km in the span of eight to 10 hours a day.
Adam said that his success came from the help of his team members, who helped and supported him throughout his journey, and hopes that his achievement would encourage Malaysians to follow their dreams.
