Overworking is no doubt a serious issue, with actor Godfrey Gao recently dying from being overworked and stress, now overworking has claimed another life in Indonesia.
A 66-year-old man in Desa Ledokombo, East Jawa, Indonesia was recently found dead after falling sleeping on his motorcycle in the middle of the road.
The man was a father who sold ice cream to provide for his family and is believed to have died from exhaustion after ignoring his tiredness and continued working.
His body was found when another man named Misyanto found him on his bike after he tried to honk at the ice cream vendor for blocking the road, before realising that there was something wrong with the still body on the motorcycle.
The family revealed that he would always complain about having headaches and difficulty breathing but ignored his problems and continued selling his ice creams.
The police said there were no signs of struggle on the dead body and his belongings remained with him. he medic team did an examination of the body too.
It’s easy to ignore your stress and tiredness to push yourself through sometimes but nothing is worth more than your life and having the people you love lose you from overworking.
