If you’ve watched Spirited Away, My Neighbour Totoro, and Howl’s Moving Castle, then it’s safe to assume that you’re a Studio Ghibli fan. And if you’re indeed a fan, then the Studio Ghibli’s Theme Park is surely somewhere you’d want to add to your must-visit list:
The theme park won’t be open until 2022 though, but the official concept art has recently been released and it gives us the first look at how the Ghibli wonderland will look like!
The main entrance of the park will feature European cityscape buildings from Howl’s Moving Castle and The Antique Shop’s replica from Whisper of the Heart.
There’ll also be The Big Ghibli Warehouse, which will be filled with a Ghibli-themed play area, exhibition and small cinemas.
Then there’s the Princess Mononoke Village and Witch Valley featuring Howl’s Moving Castle and Kiki’s Delivery Service attractions!
A Totoro themed area—Dondoko Forest, will also be in it. We can’t wait to see it all when this theme park comes to life!
Which area do you wish to explore the most? We can already imagine ourselves buying tons of souvenirs from the place!
