With the global pandemic still ongoing, many of us have adjusted to the new norm to avoid any unnecessary human contact. But this man decided to go the extra mile.
According to Coconuts Bali, a socialite recently went viral after he took the extra step to avoid COVID-19 by booking an entire flight to Bali.
He revealed that he had booked the whole flight so that him and his wife could travel safely and said that his #LifeHack is “still cheaper than chattering a private jet”.
"We're super paranoid. Had to make sure no one else in this flight. We ain't flying unless its just us," he wrote in his Instagram story.
The Jakarta socialite’s Instagram story showed his flight with no other passengers on.
“After I’d book as many seats as possible it was still cheaper than [chartering] a PJ. That’s the trick fellas. #lifehacks.”
Reports estimated that he spent between RM21,774 - RM31,935 (US$5,383-7,895) for the entire flight that has 12 business class seats and 150 economy class seats available.
It is unsure if he actually did book the entire flight but Lion Air Group spokesman Danang Mandala Prihantoro said that only two passenger seats were booked under the socialite’s name.
Many people online however, don’t think it’s untrue seeing that the socialite is known for his lavish spending habits and he previously even bought a car for his dog as its birthday gift.
Must be nice to be rich but perhaps the safest way to avoid COVID-19 is to avoid traveling and stay at home!
