Recently it was reported that one of the world’s longest running and most well known manga series was coming to an end.

A 10-episode live-action series that’s based on the classic manga and anime has been ordered but a release date has yet to be set.
If you’re worried about how a live-action version of the beloved series would turn out, worry not because Eiichiro will be overseeing the production of the series himself as an executive producer.
“I know I announced the production of this back in 2019, but these things take time!” Eiichiro said. “Preparations have been slowly progressing behind the scenes, and it seems that I can finally make the big announcement.”
For those who are not as familiar with the manga, One Piece revolves around Monkey D. Luffy - a pirate whose body has the properties of rubber; who is on a quest to find the legendary treasure “One Piece” and become the Pirate King.
