Many reshoots have been made since Zack Snyder’s Justice League was announced and one of the characters that fans have been excited to see is Jared Leto’s Joker!

Zack Snyder finally released the first look at Jared Leto’s return as the Batman villain and it’s definitely creepier than the version from 2016’s Suicide Squad!

The new version of Joker has long hair and instead of being covered in tattoos, he's covered in scars instead and is wearing something that a villain would wear in the Arkham Asylum.

Jared Leto’s Joker has never been a part of the original Justice League movie, but Zack Snyder decided to add the character in after he was offered the chance to let him work on the #SnyderCut that fans have been asking for for years.

“The Joker is really the only thing that I thought of in retrospect,” Snyder said to Vanity Fair. "But I will say that it was always my intention to bring Joker into that world.”

“That is to say, the Jared Leto Joker and the Ben Affleck Batman, they never really got together,” he added. “It seemed uncool to me that we would make it all the way through this incarnation of Batman and Joker without seeing them come together.”

Spoiler alert!

Zack revealed that Joker’s scene in the movie will see the villain talking to Batman in a dream sequence in which Ben Affleck’s Batman experiences a world where the superheroes failed.

“The cool thing about the scene is that it's Joker talking directly to Batman about Batman,” Snyder said. “It's Joker analyzing Batman about who he is and what he is. That’s the thing I also felt like fans deserved from the DC Universe.”

Zack Snyder’s Justice League will reportedly be a four hour long movie and was recently confirmed to be rated-R.
