The Jonas Brothers are bringing festive cheer with their upcoming holiday movie, A Very Jonas Christmas. PEOPLE has an exclusive first look at the film, which follows Nick, Kevin, and Joe as they navigate a series of misadventures while trying to make it home from London to New York in time for Christmas.

“We loved the idea of creating something fun and magical for the holidays,” Joe, 35, tells PEOPLE. “Disney was the perfect partner to bring that to life.”
Adding to the excitement, the film will also feature a brand-new holiday album from the trio. “That was a huge draw for us,” Nick, 32, says. “There’s a mix of classic holiday tunes and original music that we can’t wait for fans to hear.”
Exclusive stills show the brothers embracing the holiday spirit—and plenty of comedy. In one shot, Joe rocks an Elton John-inspired outfit while Nick and Kevin, 37, look on in concern. Another captures them decked out in German-style tourist gear, holding a sweatshirt that reads, “I don’t give a schnitzel.” Other images show the trio stranded on a snowy road and Nick surrounded by Christmas trees.
Filmed in Toronto, the movie is directed by Jessica Yu and produced by Isaac Aptaker, Elizabeth Berger, Adam Fishbach, Spencer Berman, and Scott Morgan.

The Jonas Brothers first teased the project in January with a Love Actually-inspired video, humorously revealing, “Sorry to bother you … but we’re making a Christmas movie.”
Fans can expect plenty of laughs, music, and holiday magic when A Very Jonas Christmas premieres later this year.
