A new feud between Kanye West and his ex-wife Kim Kardashian is unfolding after the rapper released a song featuring their daughter, North West, despite Kim’s attempts to block it.

On March 15, Kanye dropped a track titled Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine on X, featuring vocals from North West, 11, as well as Sean "Diddy" Combs and his son, Christian "King" Combs. The song was deleted a day later.
Kim had reportedly sent legal documents to prevent North from being featured on the track, citing concerns for her daughter’s protection—especially given Diddy’s ongoing sex trafficking trial. However, Kanye allegedly ignored the request, sharing a text conversation where Kim reminded him that she trademarked North’s name at birth to safeguard her rights.
In his response, Kanye reportedly demanded changes to the trademark agreement, warning, “Amend it or I’m going to war. And neither of us will recover from the public fallout. You’re going to have to kill me.”

According to TMZ, Kim took further action by sending cease and desist letters to Kanye and holding an emergency mediation hearing with a judge. Kanye reportedly skipped the meeting but allegedly promised not to release the track—before going ahead with it anyway.
After the song’s release, Kanye took to X to demand a bigger role in his children's lives, stating, “I don’t want to just see my kids. I need to raise them.”
The rapper, who has been mentoring North in music production, has repeatedly used social media to air grievances about parenting arrangements.
The latest dispute between Kanye and Kim raises questions about North’s involvement in the music industry and the ongoing legal battle between her parents.
