Kanye West has made a reappearance on Instagram, giving fans a glimpse into his family life and an exciting update on his daughter North West’s budding music career.

The 47-year-old rapper posted a series of updates on the platform, including a black-and-white photo of his 11-year-old daughter, North, in the studio. In the image, North is seen wearing a striped sweatshirt, jorts, and fur boots, with a keyboard in the background.
“This little girl made me love music again,” Kanye captioned the post. “She asked me to make beats for her. I got back on the ASR, chopped up beats for her album, and chopped every beat with my bare hand for BULLY,” seemingly referencing his own forthcoming album.
Malik Yusef, a frequent collaborator of Kanye’s, chimed in on the post, praising the rapper’s efforts. “Yes sir, you definitely did that. I’ve been a witness—seen it with my own two eyes. It’s really good to see the young God YE doing pure magic!!!!”

Kanye also shared a short video clip showing North walking into the studio alongside WRLDFMS Tony Williams, his first cousin and a frequent collaborator. The post was captioned “TRAINING 2.0,” hinting at North’s growing involvement in the creative process.
This isn’t North’s first foray into music. Last year, she contributed vocals to Kanye’s Vultures series, appearing on tracks like “Talking” and “Bomb” from V2.
Meanwhile, Kanye is reportedly gearing up to release his own solo album, Bully, which he teased earlier this month in a now-deleted Instagram post. The teaser included news of his reunion with producer Mike Dean, according to Billboard.
In March 2024, North announced her debut album, Elementary School Dropout, during a listening party for her father’s Vultures 2. The title is a playful nod to Kanye’s groundbreaking 2004 album, The College Dropout.
“I’ve been working on an album…” North told the crowd in Phoenix, sparking cheers. She went on to reveal the album title, signaling her early creative influence. North’s creativity isn’t limited to music. In October 2024, she spoke with Interview Magazine about her style inspirations, naming her father as a major influence. In a clip shared by her mom Kim Kardashian, North explained, “I like streetwear and ’90s. Tyler, the Creator; my dad; me!”
As Kanye continues to focus on his own projects, it’s clear that his artistic passion has inspired the next generation. North’s journey into music reflects her father’s legacy while carving out a path of her own.
