People who love singing their hearts out can finally return to karaoke centres after almost four months!
Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob announced that family-oriented karaoke centres can reopen starting 15 July in his press conference!
Entertainment centres like game arcades, indoor funfairs, edutainment centres for children and kids’ gymnasiums can also resume operations starting 15 July.
Social distancing and standard operating procedures are compulsory for the operators and customers in the businesses too.
“So we have decided to allow these businesses to operate from July 15 but operators are to ensure that standard operating procedures are practised, not just by them but also by their customers,” Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said.
Other requirements like body temperature checks and tickets to sell via online must also be implemented with the number of customers limit adjusted according to the size of the premises.
Operators also need to get customers to download the MySejahtera application!
