With current technological advancements, anyone can look like however they want to online, and the internet was shocked when they found that the person behind a biker girl was actually an uncle…
A young female biker has been gaining many followers online and stealing many netizens hearts, until a face reveal gave them the shock of their lives.
The “kawaii” Japanese biker girl turned out to be a 50-year-old uncle that has been altering his face using the famous FaceApp to gain followers.
The reveal of the biker “girl” under the username azusagakuyuki began when a photo was posted where the person in the side mirror looked nothing like the person in the photo.
A reality show in Japan decided to get to the bottom of the mystery by tracking down the biker and when the helmet came out, so did the identity of the real person behind the photos… a 50-year-old man.
The man revealed that he had used the FaceApp to alter his face into a “beautiful woman” because he said that “nobody wants to see an uncle”.
The app’s feature allowed him to use the gender-change option and post altered photos of himself and used “girly” captions to gain followers, which to date has over 18.7k followers on Twitter.
Many netizens were shocked with the reveal, with many saying they don’t know what to believe on the internet anymore.
Others however said that people trust what they see online too easily with many pointing out the flaws of the edit that could’ve been obvious if they put some effort into looking at the small details.
Looks like we really can’t trust everything we see on the internet anymore.
