Kristen Bell embraced a magical holiday theme for her Christmas tree this year, drawing inspiration from Wicked and the classic 1939 film The Wizard of Oz. The 44-year-old actress, known for her roles in Frozen and Nobody Wants This, unveiled the elaborate tree on Instagram on Christmas Day.

The festive display featured a yellow brick road leading up to the tree, complete with a pair of legs poking out from underneath, representing the Wicked Witch of the East. The legs, clad in the iconic ruby red slippers, added a playful touch to the scene.
The tree itself was adorned with pink and red baubles, pink ribbon, and two eye-catching toppers that embodied Wicked's central characters, Glinda and Elphaba. One topper showcased blonde hair, a pink dress, and angel wings, while the other featured a green dress, green wings, and a classic black witch's hat.

Adding to the theme, a sign behind the tree read, “Caution: Flying Monkeys Ahead,” and some of the presents under the tree were wrapped in green, pink, and red to match the decor.
Bell’s love for Wicked and The Wizard of Oz is no secret. In November, she shared an Instagram post documenting a choir trip to see the Wicked movie. Videos showed the group dancing to Jonathan Bailey’s performance of “Dancing Through Life” and singing along to Cynthia Erivo’s “Defying Gravity.” Bell captioned the post, thanking director Jon M. Chu for the experience.
This isn’t the first time Bell and her husband, Dax Shepard, have gone all out with their holiday decorations. Last year, they opted for a Grinch-themed tree, complete with the Grinch himself peeking through a lopsided pine. Shepard shared a humorous Instagram post about the display.
While the couple’s elaborate holiday setups delight their daughters Delta, 8, and Lincoln, 10, Bell has admitted that the effort can be exhausting. Bell’s creativity and festive spirit continue to make the holidays unforgettable for her family, and this year’s Wizard of Oz-themed tree is no exception.
