The Russo Brothers Just Confirmed What Happened To Loki After “Avengers: Endgame”!

That explains everything!

Throughout the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Loki has been a villain, a friend, a brother, dead (one too many times) and one of our favourite characters!

If you STILL HAVEN’T watch Avengers: Endgame yet, well SpOiLeR aLeRt.

So as we all know, Loki went for the neck (not the head still) back in Avengers: Infinity War and Thanos basically said nope and killed him off.

And then Marvel decided to drop an Avengers: Endgame poster with Loki in it and he appeared in the movie making us all go crazy!

Loki only appeared in the scene where Tony Stark and Scott Lang went back in time to 2012 to get the space stone and dropped it because Hulk hates the stairs and Loki picked the Space Stone and teleports away!

And that’s it! Loki is gone with the Space Stone and makes us wonder where he went or if he’s even alive at all after the Avengers fixed the timeline.

The Russo Brother are here to give us an explanation!

“Loki, when he teleports away with the Space Stone, would create his own timeline," Joe said. "It gets very complicated, but it would be impossible for Cap to rectify the timeline unless he found Loki. The minute that Loki does something as dramatic as take the Space Stone, he creates a branched reality."

So there you have it, Loki is alive somewhere in an alternate timeline and doing Loki things and we’re here wondering if he will evolve to become the Loki we’ve come to love because 2012 Loki didn’t go through his mother’s death, and growing closer to Thor in Thor: Ragnarok yet!

"We're dealing with this idea of multiverses and branched realities," Anthony added. "So there are MANY realities."

And those alternate timelines are probably how Marvel is planning to set up the Loki TV series that’s set to release on Disney + and let’s be real this multiverse thing is going to get REALLY complicated. (But we are not complaining.)
