The Edcation Ministry has recently announced the postponement of a number of national examinations due to the current situation with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
As schools and universities are closed because of the Movement Control Order, it only makes sense that the examinations must be amended to atone for it.
According to the ministry, the written portion of the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) that is originally held in two phases; will now be held in one phase that will take place from Nov 16 to Dec 7.

As for the Form Three Assessment (PT3) examinations, the Bahasa Malaysia and English Language papers will now take place on 28th September and 29th September respectively.
The dates of the Ujian Pencapaian Sekolah Rendah (UPSR) remain unchanged and will take place on 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 7th, and 8th September.
Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysian (STPM) students can expect the Semester 2 examinations to be pushed from May to November to give the schools a chance to catch up on the syllabus.
